About Me:

After twenty-five years of teaching different grade levels and subject areas, one thing always rings true for me. I love seeing the "lightbulb" light up when students make new discoveries and connections. It is an honor and privilege for me to work with and nurture children.  As one of the first Transitional Kindergarten teachers in CUSD, I have worked to grow and innovate this high quality program for the past eleven years. TK provides the wonderful, essential gift of time for children so they may continue to develop socially and emotionally, as well as academically, honing the skills and readiness needed for success in Kindergarten and beyond. 

In my spare time, I love reading, gardening, taking trips to the beach, and spending time with my two children.  I am a huge Oakland Athletics baseball fan.  Let's Go Oakland!!
