Lena Bundtzen
As Associate Superintendent of Human Resources for preschool-through-eighth-grade Campbell Union School District, Lena Bundtzen oversees the District’s personnel services, labor negotiations, and is the district's Title IX Coordinator.
With an education career that spans more than 25 years, she brings a wide range of experience to the position. She has taught elementary, middle and high school as both a special education teacher and a general education teacher. She has been a Coach, Dean, Principal, Program Specialist and Director of Special Education.
Prior to coming to Campbell Union School District, she was Executive Director in neighboring Campbell Union High School District.
Bundtzen has earned several awards, including Los Angeles Unified School District Teacher of the Year 2000, the 2013 Campbell Women of Distinction, and the 2014 Special Education Administrator of the Year award from the Association of California School Administrators. She holds degrees in Sociology, Education and Administration from California State University, Northridge.
