Andrea Chinbong

I have been teaching Grades 1-2, and 4 at Castlemont since 1998. I've also been a mentor and Support Provider for numerous student teachers through BTSA, SJSU and SCU throughout my career.  I received my B.A. in Sociology from UC Irvine, and my teaching credential and M.A. in Education & Administration from San Jose State University. 

Outside of school, my husband and I are busy with our twins' activities and in my spare time I enjoy taking Peloton classes, watching Bay Area sports teams, and doing arts & crafts.

Teaching elementary students has been a dynamic and rewarding experience, and to help students learn, grow, and mature socially and academically each year has been inspiring for me.
