School Accountability Report Card (SARC)
An annual bilingual report showing key data for each school.
California public and nonpublic, nonsectarian schools annually provide information to the community to allow public comparison of schools for student achievement, environment, resources and demographics. Each SARC includes a school profile with background information, the school's mission, goals, and all of the following data:
- Demographic data
- School safety and climate for learning information
- Academic data
- School completion rates
- Class sizes
- Teacher and staff information Curriculum and instruction descriptions
- Postsecondary preparation information
- Fiscal and expenditure data
By February 1st of each year, every school in California is required by law to publish a School Accountability Report Card (SARC). Parents with Internet access can view SARCs below.
