Students’ first day of school is Wednesday, August 21, 2024, and it’s an early release day.

As we gear up for the new school year, we want to ensure that families have the information they need to make the transition smooth. Here are some key resources that may help.

District and School Websites: The district’s website has comprehensive back-to-school information, such as the school year calendar, bus schedules, lunch menus, district-wide services, and much more. Your school’s website offers site-specific information, such as orientation dates, bell schedules, parent resources, and staff directory.

Back-to-School Packet: Around the first week in August, watch for the back-to-school packet in your email. This packet contains essential information, including official policies and notices in the Parent/Guardian Handbook, and important forms that need your attention. Please review this packet thoroughly to ensure you are well-prepared for the start of the school year.

Parent Communication: Our Parent Resources web page is a one-stop location for resources to keep families informed. You’ll find links to ParentSquare (our primary parent communication tool), emergency response information, e-newsletter subscriptions for your school(s), and the PowerSchool parent portal (our student information system).

School Office Staff: Once the school year begins in August, our friendly school office staff will be available to help you with any inquiries. Office hours and contact details can be found on the school website.

Social Media: Follow our school district on social media for real-time updates, reminders, and highlights of school activities. We’re CampbellUSD on Instagram, Facebook and Youtube.

Parent-Teacher Committees: Contact the parent-teacher or home-and-school club for opportunities to get involved and stay informed about school events and volunteer opportunities. These groups often organize back-to-school events where you can meet other parents, teachers, and school staff. You’ll find a link to them on the school’s website.

To us, families are our partners in educating students to their highest potential. We are committed to providing you with the resources needed to ensure a successful start to the school year and every day going forward.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Wednesday, August 21st!
