Realigning Trustee Areas for 2020 Census Data

In December 2019, the Campbell Union School District (CUSD) Governing Board transitioned from at-large to by-trustee area Board elections in accordance with the California Voting Rights Act (CVRA). To remain in compliance, the Board is reviewing the trustee area boundaries and proposing a realignment based on the data received via the U.S. Census for 2020. The review process includes availability of proposed maps for review by the public and opportunities for public comment during the Governing Board's regular meetings.
